New York City Police Department Announces Street Closures And Expected Traffic Delays For The Weekend Of October 15 - 16
The New York City Police Department today announced street closures and expected traffic backup. Drivers should anticipate delays in the following areas.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15

WALK THE TUNNEL
Manhattan * 8:30 a.m. * 9:30 a.m.
Lincoln Tunnel: One tube closed for walking event.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 16

MS BIKE TOUR
Manhattan * 7:30 a.m. to 12 noon
Formation: South Street Seaport
Route: North on South Street from Peck Slip to FDR Drive at Gouverneur
Place; North on FDR Drive/Harlem River Drive to 10th Avenue Exit; 10th Avenue to 218th Street to Indian Road; Right on Indian Road to Seaman

Avenue; Right on Seaman Avenue to Riverside Drive; Right on Riverside Drive to Henry Hudson Parkway South to West 54th Street; Left on 54th Street to 11th Avenue South on 11th Avenue to West 24th Street; Right on 24th Street to Chelsea Piers.

STATEN ISLAND HALF MARATHON
Staten Island * 9:00 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Formation: Richmond County Bank Stadium Route & End: Richmond Terrace to Bay Street; Right on Bay Street to Hannah Street; Left on Hannah Street to Front Street; Right on Front Street to Bay Street; Left on Bay Street to School Road; right on School Road to Father Capodanno Boulevard; right on Greely Avenue and Make U-turn before Hylan Boulevard; continue on Father Capodanno Boulevard to McClean Avenue; Right on McClean Avenue and enter Fort Wadsworth; Left on New York Avenue to Coast Guard Drive; Left on Coast Guard Drive to Marshall Road. Also the westbound Verrazano Bridge ramp to Bay St. will be closed during the same hours.
