Due to maintenance work on the George Washington Bridge, three upper level lanes will be closed in both directions from 10 p.m., Friday through 10 a.m. Saturday and again from 10 p.m. Saturday through 10 a.m. Sunday, leaving only one lane open. Motorists are encouraged to use the lower level or an alternative Hudson River crossing.

In addition to the lane closures, the following areas will also be affected:

* Henry Hudson Parkway ramp diverted to lower level
* Harlem River Drive diverted to lower level
* 179th Street ramp closed from 10:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
