New York City Police Department Announces Media Parking Areas For The September 11th Commemoration Ceremony

The New York City Police Department today announced the parking areas that will be available for members of the media for the September 11th Commemoration Ceremony. The ceremony will take place at the World Trade Center site.

Beginning on Friday, September 10, 2004 at 5:00 p.m., "Satellite Trucks Only," may park on a first come, first serve basis on the bike lane of West Street from south of the viewing area to Liberty Street. All trucks should enter via the southbound lane of West Street.

On Saturday, September 11, 2004, parking is prohibited in the following areas:
* West Street from Vesey Street to Liberty Street
* Vesey Street from West Street to the west side of Broadway
* Liberty Street from West Street to Church Street
* Church Street from Vesey Street to Liberty Street
* Cortland Street from Church Street to Broadway
* Broadway from Barclay Street to Fulton Street
