Nypd/Interpol Terrorism Awareness Conference
|

The New York City Police Department will host the
Interpol Terrorism Awareness Conference (ITAC) from Wednesday November 19th
through Friday, November 21st, 2003. Police Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly and
Interpol Secretary General Ronald Noble will open the conference at 10am on
Wednesday November 19th in the main auditorium of One Police Plaza. Members of
the press are invited to attend the opening remarks and the question and answer
session immediately afterward in the 2nd floor press room. The theme of this,
the fourth ITAC conference, is “Targeted Terrorism Analysis.” All 181-member
nations of Interpol are eligible to attend the three-day conference. More than
100 Interpol members are expected to be present at the conference both as
presenters and participants. The conference will be simultaneously interpreted
into the official languages of Interpol (English, French, Spanish, and
Arabic).
