The New York City Police Department today announced security measures and other policies that will be in place at Shea Stadium during the Bruce Springsteen concerts on Friday, October 3, and
Saturday, October 4.

No tailgate parties will be permitted in the parking lot. No open containers of alcohol will be permitted at the concert. Due to heavy traffic congestion, all concert-goers are encouraged to use mass transit. Due to long security check-in lines, all concert-goers are encouraged not to bring bags or backpacks to the concerts.
