The New York City Police Department's Patrol Borough
Bronx will host its annual Harmony Day Picnic from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Joseph
Yancy Field in the Bronx. The field is across from Yankee Stadium in the 44th
Precinct. The event is geared for children, and all members of the community are
welcomed to attend.
The purpose of the annual Harmony Day Picnic is to
strengthen the relationship between the New York City Police Department and the
children who live in the Bronx. Up to 5,000 children, ranging in age from 6 to
15,
are expected to attend the event.
