The New York City Police Department Announces Two Military Aircraft Will Perform A Low-Altitude Fly-By Above The Hudson River On Thursday, July 10, At 6 P.M.

The New York City Police Department today announced that the Federal Aviation Administration has approved a low-level fly-by for two U.S. military aircraft above the Hudson River on Thursday, July 10, at 6 p.m.

Two F/A-18 Hornets, carrying U.S. soldiers home from the Middle East, will descend to about 1,000 feet while passing the Verrazano Bridge and the Statue of Liberty, and then head north up the Hudson River.
