The New York City Police Department today announced
that starting at midnight tonight, Tuesday, June 10, traffic will flow
southbound in all lanes of 11th Avenue between West 27th and 34th Streets.
This segment of 11th Avenue was originally southbound only, but following the
terror attacks of September 11, 2001, it was divided into a two-way street to
facilitate traffic congestion in the area. Tonight the avenue will return to its
former configuration.
