New York City Police Department Announces Media Parking Areas For Coverage Of Anti-War Protest On Saturday, March 22

The New York City Police Department today announced the parking areas that will be available for media broadcast vehicles during the anti-war protest and march down Fifth Avenue on Saturday, March 22.

Beginning at 8 a.m., the following locations will be available for BROADCAST VEHICLES ONLY:

East side of Broadway between 42nd and 43rd Streets.
East side of Avenue of the Americas between 37th and 38th Streets. Planter/zebra-striped area on the east side of Broadway between 34th and 35th Streets. East side of Madison Square Park West between 24th and 26th Streets. North side of 14th Street between Broadway and University Place
Both sides of Fifth Avenue between Waverly Place and 8th Street.

During the protest and march, members of the media will be allowed to park in any legal parking spot on any side street from 33rd Street south to Washington Square Park, with the following exceptions: 34th Street, 23rd Street, and 14th Street.

The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Public Information will set up a mobile Media Information Center at Broadway and 42nd Street at 8 a.m. The center will move throughout the day as the march proceeds south on Broadway.
