The New York City Police
Department's Sixth Precinct will host its third-annual dinner for senior
citizens on Wednesday, December 11, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The event will be held
at the Caring Community Senior Center of Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 25
Carmine Street. More than 200 seniors are expected to attend.
The meals
served are bought and prepared by members of the Sixth Precinct. This year
police will also provide music: Two officers will play banjo and guitar. The
dinner is part of the Sixth Precinct's ongoing community outreach program.
