Commissioner Raymond W. Kelly today announced a $10,000 reward for information
leading to the arrest of four suspects for the attempted murder a New York City
Police Officer on Tuesday, November 19, in Jersey City, New Jersey. The reward
money is being supplied by the New York City Police Foundation.
Police Officer Hung Nguyen
was assaulted while he was off-duty in a bar in Jersey City. He sustained
serious injuries, including paralysis below the chest. The four suspects (three
men and one woman, respectively) are: Teo Nguyen, 22; Mai T Nguyen, 25; Binh
Nguyen, 19; and Uyen Nguyen, age not known. Though the officer and the suspects
share the same last name, they are not related.
The NYPD is conducting
this investigation with the Jersey City Police Department. Anyone who has
