In early 2012, the city completed a series of mandatory audits of universal and electronic waste procedures at various agency facilities. The audit was required under a 2009 EPA consent order related to universal and electronic waste regulations. Going forward, agencies are encouraged to implement a systematic audit process for facilities where agency personnel are responsible for handling spent lighting and/or electronic waste. The links below can be used to plan your agency's program.
