School Materials Request Form

Download or order our free materials to set up your school recycling program, and educate staff and students about waste prevention and recycling.

To order materials, fill out and submit the form below (or print out and FAX to 212-514-7812). Please allow four weeks for delivery.

Note: DSNY is working to update our decals and public education literature to reflect NYC’s expanded recycling program. Check back this summer to order updated free decals, stickers, and information. In the meantime your existing decals, flyers, and posters still work fine; just know that starting now, you can voluntarily recycle all your rigid plastics.

These materials are tailored specifically for K-12 schools located in NYC. See info below for other cities.

Work with your school's Sustainability Coordinator, principal, custodian engineer, teachers, and staff to place ONE ORDER PER SCHOOL.

Use the site visit request form to request staff from DSNY Bureau of Waste Prevention, Reuse and Recycling to come to your school and review recycling regulations with the principal and custodian. See how to request a speaker for other purposes.

School Recycling Container Decals

Click on image to see item		Indoor "Mixed Paper" Recycling Bin Decal For labeling INDOOR "Mixed Paper" recycling bins (9" x 12"). Order ONE decal for each "Mixed Paper" recycling bin placed in classrooms, offices, and beside copiers.

Other cities		Please understand our recycling program is supported through local taxpayer dollars; we do not have sufficient funding to provide materials for other municipalities.
