Fluorescent Lamp Recyclers
The Lamp Section 
of the National Electrical Manufacturers Association represents virtually all manufacturers of mercury-containing fluorescent lamps selling in the United States. It sponsors a website, lamprecycle.org , with information on benefits, regulations, and contacts for recycling spent fluorescent lamps.
Vendors may offer either collection services and/or pre-paid shipping containers that can be mailed back to the recycler.
NYC Agencies must utilize the Citywide Agency Safe Handling Contract to dispose of these items.
