Site Visit Request Form

Recycling outreach staff from the DSNY Bureau of Waste Prevention, Reuse and Recycling (BWPRR) can visit your site during business hours to offer practical advice and to review recycling regulations with building management and custodial staff.

BWPRR outreach staff are also available to give presentations on recycling to tenant organizations or community groups. (Visit our promotional materials page to download or request educational materials.)

Who SHOULD use this form? Because we have a limited outreach staff, please only request a site visit if you meet all of the following conditions:

You receive Department of Sanitation collection. If you're not sure, check with your facilities manager or custodian before completing the form.
Your location generates large amounts of designated recyclable materials.
You want help figuring out the best way to set up or improve recycling at your location(s).
You have the necessary support from the management of your site to implement recycling improvements.

Who SHOULD NOT use this form? Please DO NOT request a site visit if you meet any of the following conditions:

You don't receive Department of Sanitation collection. If a private carter collects your waste, your location falls under commercial recycling regulations.
You only generate a few bags or bins of designated recyclables each week.
You have no authority to implement recycling improvements at your location.
You want a Recycling Specialist to give a presentation or table at an event. Please see how to request a speaker.
