Summary: NY State Dept of Environmental Conservation regulates the direct land application of Class B biosolids. Biosolids land application facilities have specific permitting requirements, and operational and facilities standards including pollution limits, monitoring, record keeping and reporting requirements, and pathogen and vector attraction reduction criteria.
