Summary: The US Environmental Protection Agency's Final Guidance on Environmentally Preferable Purchasing assists executive agencies in the federal government with the implementation of environmentally preferable purchasing.

These guidelines were issued to comply with a series of executive orders leaving NYCWasteLess related to Environmentally Preferable Purchasing, and are supported by the Federal Trade Commission's "Green Guides" for the use of environmental marketing claims.
