The NYC recycling characters have appeared at various venues throughout the City to promote recycling on behalf of the DSNY Bureau of Waste Prevention, Reuse and Recycling. Where appropriate, appearances include an info table featuring free recycling and waste prevention materials and decals. The public also has the opportunity to pose with the NYC recycling characters in front of a special backdrop and take home free photos, so they can RRRemember the special event forever. Upcoming Appearances: The recycling characters will be present at the upcoming Spring 2013 NYC SAFE Disposal Events.
