Community-Based Compost Sites in Queens
Share/Bookmark

With the help of the NYC Compost Project in Queens, many of the organizations listed below have developed active, outdoor composting operations where leaves, garden trimmings, food scraps, and other organic materials are composted.

If you would like to learn more about community composting or have a site that would like to become a community-based compost site, please contact the compost project site in your borough.

NOTE: If you are a NYC resident interested in dropping off leaves, garden trimmings, or food scraps, please see community drop-offs.
