Working with residents, schools, community gardens and civic organizations, the NYC Compost Project in Manhattan offers workshops on vermicomposting (indoor composting with worms) and rat-proof, Manhattan-style backyard composting. Check under organic waste in the WasteLess Events Calendar for a schedule of up and coming workshops, or contact us if you want to arrange for a workshop for your school or organization.
