Compost Workshops at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and in Brooklyn Neighborhoods
The NYC Compost Project in Brooklyn presents workshops on topics like Outdoor Composting, Composting with Redworms, Compost Tea and Building your own Bin at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. leaving NYCWasteLess We will also come to your Brooklyn community to present classes for 10 persons or more. Please contact us if you would like us to offer a workshop for your community garden, neighborhood association, apartment building/board mtg, or civic group in Brooklyn.

Compost Bins
The  NYC Compost Project in Brooklyn offers compost bins at the reduced price of $61 to NYC residents. "Wormshop" participants receive a coupon to purchase a Worm Condo, including 1 lb of worms, at cost for $44 from the NYC Compost Project in Manhattan.

Teacher Workshop: Worm Composting in the Classroom
Looking for a way to introduce your class to ecology and recycling? Try composting with worms! Kids love it. This class may be held at any Brooklyn school for a group of ten or more NYC teachers. Call us for more information.

Home Composting Exhibit
Come see how to compost at the home composting exhibit at Brooklyn Botanic Garden, near the Cranford Rose Garden. The display includes a variety of compost bins, different stages of decomposition, and new signs in both English and Spanish to explain the process.
