Shaping the City with the CPC
With so much new construction around the five boroughs, do you ever wonder who decides what gets built in the City and where?  Or what rules guide development?  Some of these decisions are made by the City Planning Commission. Learn more about the process as you watch democracy in action at the City Planning Commission hearings on land use applications.  After receiving input from the public and elected officials, the 13-member Commission chaired by Amanda M.
