NYC TV, RNN AND FASHION WIRE DAILY PARTNER TO COVER FASHION WEEK


NYC TV, the official network of the City of New York; W-RNN, the Regional News Network; and Fashion Wire Daily, a globally distributed newswire service devoted to fashion and celebrity style, announced a new partnership. The partnership will provide local television viewers with daily reports filed from inside the tents at Bryant Park, covering each day’s major events and breaking news. The initiative builds on the success of NYC TV’s ‘Fashion in Focus’ series, which gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the business side of fashion, focusing not only on the designers, but the thousands of ancillary businesses that depend on this important component of the local economy.

Produced by NYC TV’s Kela Walker and featuring Fashion Wire Daily experts Godfrey Deeny and Tom Julian, the daily fashion updates will bring viewers brand name designers like Carolina Herrera and Oscar de La Renta as well as newcomers like Zac Posen and Samantha Treacy, in addition to clips of each day’s exciting runway action. The special fashion segments will air throughout Fashion Week on NYC TV in its prime-time broadcast and on RNN’s Metro News Live (nightly, 8 PM).
