She has also VJ'ed with MTV; hosted national network specials such as American Latino Dreams; presented and corresponded for online concerns including TMZ.com; and can frequently be seen hosting live community events as well. Her acting credits include the award-winning indie drama JailCity, and Off-Broadway play What Life May Bring.

In other media, Desi’s utilizes her voiceover talents in comedy skits locally on 105.9FM & Power 105.1, and as a branding voice nationwide on Sirius Satellite Radio. A pianist since childhood, Desi is working on her debut album with Savant Music, for which she was named one of the hottest Latinas in Music by MAXIM Español.
