Cool in Your Code

Cool in Your Code is an exciting new show that gets thorough in each borough. Each episode will explore what's cool, new, undiscovered and different throughout New York's 200 plus zip codes. From fashion to film, celebrities and more - it's the City, from the inside out.

Chelsea
This episode takes us in and around New York City's famed Chelsea, where we'll check in to the infamous Chelsea Hotel on 'Local Flavor,' while Allure Fashion Director Sasha checks out Chelsea's famous flea markets.

Harlem
This edition of the show zips us to uptown Manhattan, where we explore a number of Harlem's culture-laden codes. Spend some quality time at The Brownstone and sample some of NYC's finest comfort food at Miss Mamie's Spoonbread Too.

The Bronx
In this episode we visit The Bronx, also known as the Borough of Universities and Parks. Watch as we profile a number of zips and highlights some of the best things these codes have to offer.

Staten Island
Join us for an exciting trip through the borough with everything from colonial villages to the legendary Wu-Tang Clan. You'll be surprised at what's just a ferry ride away.

Lower East SIde
This week we give you more of LES... the Lower East Side, that is. Chill with Moby at Teany, his hip café, satisfy your sweet tooth at Economy Candy and have a brush with history - and perhaps your roots - at the Lower East Side Tenement Museum.

Jackson Heights
On this episode you can savor the flavors of India at the Jackson Diner, enjoy a taste of Bella Italia at Armondo's design your own sari or splurge on a piece of South Asian jewelry.

Williamsburg
On this edition, we visit the artistic enclave of Williamsburg and its many hip locations. Art galleries, burlesque shows and where to get a great meal are all part of this very cool agenda.

BoCoCa
We tooka tour of the "meta-neighborhood" known by certain hipsters as "BoCoCa" (Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill and Carroll Gardens). These three areas make up an epicenter of cool, and we explore all of it.

Hell's Kitchen
We heat things up in this episode with a trip to Hell's Kitchen, one of Manhattan's landmark neighborhoods that has become a hotbed of all things trendy and surprisingly cool.

Astoria
Welcome to glorious Astoria. Once a playground for Manhattan's elite, it's now home to the largest Greek population outside of Greece itself. There's so much more, so don't miss a minute of Astoria from the inside out.

Sheepshead Bay
Dive right into the center of recreational fishing in New York City. Hosts Brandon and Shirley land at the local chocolate factory while Sasha and Hitha team up to bring viewers this season's hippest fashion tips for the beach and beyond.

Meatpacking District
Gear up the get down in the last functioning market district in the City. The MPD, also known as Gansevoort Market, is in the midst of a makeover, as its slaughterhouses give way to lounges, eateries and ultra-mod shopping.

Back to The Bronx
One trip through the Boogie Down is never enough, so we head back to The Bronx for seconds. These codes are literally overflowing with culture and we pack as much as we can into our visit. Se for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Chinatown
In this episode we explore great food, the latest in Asian fashion trends and much more in Chinatown, one of Manhattan's oldest neighborhoods and largest Chinese American settlement in the U.S.
