NYC TV'S 48 EMMY EVENT HOSTED BY NEW YORK MOVES
Monday March 31, 2008 from 6:48PM to 9:48PM

TV nominees were accompanied by many famed New Yorkers, including The Apprentice’s Kwame Jackson, Media Bistro’s Laurel Touby, Project Runway’s Malan Breton, Season Four Top Chef Contestant Nikki Cascone, and Top Model Ling. Camera lenses and champagne bottles were both popping at Tribeca’s Bubble Lounge, where the environment was only enhanced by the station’s infamous orange carpet. For a recap of our celebration and a backstage pass to our special presentation of the 51st New York Emmy Awards, tune into NYC TV channel 25 all throughout April.

RADIO NEW YORK LAUNCH EVENT at TOUCH

More than a thousand people showed their support in late February 2008 for Radio New York’s launch. The event was held at Touch New York and featured phenomenal live performances, red carpet appearances, and press room interviews. Four hours of dancing and mingling in a bubbling environment of fresh new talent and ideas was definitely a confident start for the new radio station that will feed off similar inspiration.

And the night did not shine on just one star, but instead there were many guests-of-honor, from the breakthrough artists Ayo, Emily King, and Antibalas, to the faces and voices of KEXP Seattle and NYC TV. Endless support was received from the dynamic blend of guests representing all avenues of the media industry.

The night emulated precisely what NYC Media Group intends to bring forth to the airwaves – the blend of many minds and innovative content driving monumental strides in independent radio.
