RICHARD COLLIER

Bio
In addition to his Emmy Award winning on-camera work, Rich is an accomplished comedy writer and an Emmy Award winning producer.

Currently Rich is making the occasional appearance on NYC TV and is also a special contributor to CBS2 News.

ABC, NBC, FX, A&E, Lifetime, VH1 and MTV are some of the other networks for which he's completed projects.

For four seasons Rich was the host of "Subway Q&A with Rich Collier...," one of the highest rated series on The Metro Channel. To date, "Subway Q&A" has picked up ten New York Emmy Awards, including three for Rich in the category of "Outstanding On Air Achievement" and three for "Outstanding Entertainment Program."

Rich was the host of Metro's collectable series "Open Market." For over a year he appeared nightly on three live primetime shows for The Metro Channel.  As Metro's man on the street, he served as a field reporter for "Metro Advice with Suzie Essman," "Metro Psych" and "Metro Weekend."

And for close to two years, he was also head writer and featured performer on USA's afternoon variety series, "USA Live." 

He plays guitar and performed on the local, Boston club scene with his band "Just Visiting."  For three seasons he wrote and performed music for the children's series "School's Out."

Richard graduated from Boston College with a BA in both English and Philosophy.
