The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) has recently received approval from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to rent apartments in NYCHA's 21 City-and-State-built developments to Section 8 voucher holders on a first come, first served basis after registering here on the NYCHA website.
Section 8 One Bedrooms at Fabria Houses
There are a limited number of apartments currently available to Section 8 voucher holders at Fabria Houses in Manhattan. Learn more about this opportunity. Registration
If you are a NYCHA Section 8 voucher holder and you want to be considered for this opportunity, registering requires just a few simple steps. You will need your seven-digit voucher number and the last four digits of your social security number, or the last four digits of your NYCHA application number to log into the Section 8 Voucher Holder Portal.
Selecting a Development
Once you log into the Section 8 Voucher Holder Portal, and verify your voucher and contact information, you will be able to select a development based on the bedroom size that you qualify for, and other preferences that you may select. Although we are inviting you to consider our available apartments, we strongly encourage you to continue your housing search before your voucher expires. There are a limited amount of available apartments and your registration of interest on our website does not guarantee that you will obtain an apartment at any of the 21 City or State developments operated by NYCHA.
