Window guards save children’s lives. Because the safety of children is of utmost importance, the New York City Housing Authority strictly enforces New York City’s window guard law. If you have children age ten or younger living in your apartment, you must have window guards installed in your apartment. NYCHA will install the guards at no cost to you.
