Rent Hardship Policy

A family may qualify for an Interim Rent Change based on rent hardship if ALL of the following conditions are met:

  • there is a 5% reduction to gross income, AND
  • current rent is more than 30% of the net income, AND
  • reduction in income has lasted at least two months.
