  • The official New York City web site contains information on New York City's government programs and services, including links to all New York City government agencies. You can find information on alternate side of the street parking and check on current events around the city.
  • In one site you can access information about Federal, State, & Local Government. You can renew you driver's license, get or renew passports, obtain tax forms and information; obtain social security information, and much more.

  • NYC Department of Education Find out everything you need to know about your children's school, including how to enroll, the school calendar, and how to get involved in your children's education.
  • CUNY: City University of New York CUNY is the nation's leading public urban university system. Learn how to enroll in one of 19 colleges in New York City with undergraduate, graduate, and continuing education programs. Financial Aid is available for those who qualify.
  • SUNY: State University of New York Learn about SUNY's educational programs, including short-term vocational/technical courses, certificate programs, associate degree programs, baccalaureate degree programs, graduate degrees and post-doctoral studies. The courses are offered at low cost to New York Residents at campuses throughout New York State.
  • The Literacy Assistance Center If you or someone you know needs help learning to read, the Literary Assistance Center offers literacy training courses throughout New York City.


  • You can learn about and apply for Federal jobs online and even create and store an online resume for future job opportunities.


  • The Beehive: Find information about staying healthy, managing your money, schools, family, jobs and careers.
  • Henry Street Settlement: NYCHA partners with the Henry Street Settlement to provide senior services. Learn about Henry Street's other social services and programs here.
  • Police Athletic League: PAL partners with NYCHA to help us provide sports and recreation programs. You can sign up for PAL programs and register to volunteer online.
