NFL Officiating Academy

The Education Through Sports Unit (Citywide) is pleased to announce they are once again teaming up with the National Football League (NFL) to proudly present the 5th Annual NYCHA/NFL Football Officiating Academy (FOA).
The Football Officiating Academy is a eight week co-ed initiative designed for NYCHA residents ages 17 – 30, the aim of the FOA is to provide men and women with the critical skills needed to become a football official. In addition the FOA assist the NFL with broaden the pool of football officials on a national level, as well as enhancing the overall perception of officiating through national campaigns and programming.
This year the FOA will be held (5:30am - 9:00pm) starting the week of June 16, 2014  - August 4, 2014 at 787 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11238.
