HealthSTAT Program
NYCHA helps residents enroll in the HealthSTAT program which provides free or low-cost health insurance. HealthSTAT is a citywide initiative to provide uninsured New Yorkers with health insurance through non-profit organizations. Health insurance pays for medical care in times of illness and for regular check-ups.
Immunization Outreach Program
NYCHA works in partnership with the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene to provide immunizations for seniors. Both influenza (flu) and pneumonia immunizations are available at NYCHA senior centers and to homebound NYCHA residents. Residents are urged to protect themselves and their families by getting immunizations.
