Brush with Kindness

The Habitat for Humanity - New York City Brush with Kindness program works with the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) to revitalize Community Centers citywide. The scope of work typically includes painting interiors and murals, landscape gardening and/or other minor construction tasks. Volunteers should be prepared to paint, lift objects, cut, and clean spaces. Volunteers must be 16 years of age or older (ages 16-18 must have parental consent). All tools, gloves and painting supplies are provides. As part of our sustainable building practices, we only use low-VOC paint in the BWK program. Please contact to volunteer on a Brush with Kindness project.
