Instructions To Submit A Bid
- Follow the directions listed in the Authority’s Instructions to Bidders and General Conditions 1991 Edition (Consolidated Amendments). The booklet can be obtained at the above address.
- Respond fully and completely to the solicitation by reviewing all contract documents. The contract documents may include, but are not limited to, blank Form of Proposals (FOP), specifications, drawings, amendments, addenda and appendices. The contract documents must be obtained in person, Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm, at the Bids/Contracts Reception Area located at the above address. - Provide a $25.00 certified check or money order for each set of contract documents made payable to NYCHA.
- Provide, in accordance with Section 1 of the "Instructions to Bidders", three completed and executed copies of your firm’s Form of Proposal plus a bid security, if required, and as described in Section 6 of the "Instructions to Bidders". The proposal should be submitted in a grey envelope that is provided by the Authority, or the proposal may be submitted in an equivalent envelope marked as stated in Section 1(b) of the "Instructions to Bidders".
- When submitting the bid by mail, ensure sufficient first class postage is affixed and the proposal is mailed well in advance to reach the Authority prior to the bid opening date and time at the address listed above. Reliance upon the U.S. Postal Service or other carriers is at the bidder’s risk. Late bids will not be accepted.
- When submitting the sealed bid in person, deliver it directly to the 11th Floor Bids/Contracts Reception Area at the above address, no later than one-half hour prior to the bid opening time.
- Adhere to the time limits contained in Section 5(d) of the "Instructions to Bidders" regarding compliance with requests for further information concerning a bidder’s qualification for contract award.
