Raymond Stefanowicz

Portrait of Raymond StefanowiczRaymond Stefanowicz was appointed Vice President for Administration for the Capital Projects Division of the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) in December 2011. This executive position is responsible for overseeing development of NYCHA’s Capital Plan, which financially maps ongoing and new capital improvement projects, along with a projection of viable capital projects to be included in future years. The Administration Unit also financially tracks ongoing projects, administers the procurement of new project contracts, and processes payments for incurred project costs, fees, and reimbursements. In addition, Mr. Stefanowicz oversees the Office of Design which is responsible for the in-house designs of Capital Projects including building fa├žade restoration, roof replacements and building mechanical systems upgrades.

A licensed Professional Engineer, Mr. Stefanowicz has worked in the public sector as the Senior Deputy Commissioner of the Nassau County Department of Public Works. He also has worked for private consulting engineering firms designing and managing diverse civil engineering, roadway, and transportation related projects.

Mr. Stefanowicz holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Northeastern University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from New York Institute of Technology.
