Family History is a community feature intended
to share immigrant experiences in celebration of New York City's
Centennial.
It is
not easy to build a new life as an immigrant in a new country
in the present time. One hundred years ago it was even harder.
The experience
of every family is unique and is something to be treasured. Presented
here are stories submitted by our visitors, so that all may hear
the voice of their ancestors.
