Forest Hills:
See & Do
Want more architecture beyond Forest Hills Gardens' stately residences? Visit Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church (Queens Boulevard and Ascan Avenue). Queens' largest Catholic Cathedral, Our Lady takes up one square block and has gorgeous Rosetta windows adorning the church.

Tennis fans know that Forest Hills was once as famous for the U.S. Open as England is for Wimbledon. See the Westside Tennis Club (1 Tennis Place), where the U.S. Open was held for more than 70 years until 1978 when it moved to the larger national Tennis Center in Flushing, Queens. This spot is still a premier tennis club today.
