Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities - Getting Emergency Assistance from Pay Phones / Emergency Call Boxes

The following files provide information for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, as well as others who are unable to voice, about how to request emergency services such as Police, Fire, and Emergency Medical Services from public pay phones and emergency call boxes. This is known as the "Tapping Protocol."
