Service
Request Create
311 Service Request Creation is a pilot program that allows the public to create and submit requests for City services online. Online Service Requests are submitted, processed, and addressed according to the same standards as Service Requests created by the 311 Call Center. The pilot includes Service Requests to file complaints and report problems related to streets, sidewalks, public payphones, and taxis. Requests and complaints are also accepted for consumer services and senior services.
Service Request Look-up
311 Service Request Look-up allows customers to check the status of existing Service Requests (SRs) created through the 311 Call Center. It may take up to 24 hours for new SRs to be available and for updates to be reflected. SR data is available for 45 days from the request creation date.
Picture/Video Submission
The City of New York has launched a pilot program that allows the public to submit still images and/or audio/video files of select conditions that occur in the City, by calling 311, or by visiting NYC.gov.
 Health and Human Services Directory
311 has launched an Online Provider Directory to help connect New Yorkers to community based organizations that provide Health and Human Services in New York City. Use the Directory to search for information across 17 Health and Human Services categories by ZIP code, borough, service category, or organization name.
