Best of New York - New York magazine’s annual guide to the best in food, shopping, nightlife, play and beyond – comes to television for the first time on NYC life (channel 25). New York magazine and NYC Media, the official network of the City of New York, have partnered to create the television companion to the magazine’s eagerly-awaited annual guide to places that make the City great. In each edition of the short-form series, New York magazine’s Alan Sytsma and Rachel Baker visit an eatery, shop or other local business to explore the best in class, as chosen in the ‘Best of New York’ issue, ranging from where to find the best birthday cake or grilled cheese to where to have fun at the best bowling party or arcade in town.
