  Dean Michael Williams
Touro College
Dr. Michael Williams, Ph.D., is the Dean of the Graduate School of Business at Touro College. Formally, he was Faculty Chair for the graduate human resource management, leadership, and organizational development graduate programs in the School of Business and Technology at Capella University, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. Williams’s professional background blends 25 years of executive level human resource management, organizational development, higher and public education teaching and administration, authorship and consulting.

Dr. Williams has served in executive human resource management and organizational learning leadership roles leading strategic staffing, leadership development, industrial and labor relations, and change management initiatives for both national and international corporations including J. B Hanauer & Co. (Royal Bank of Canada) and C3I, Inc. (Siebel/Oracle).

Dr. William’s public speaking, consulting and authorship focuses on articulating and implementing emergent theories and practices of human capital management, leadership development, organizational development, and change management. Dr. Williams is co-founder of Muller & Williams, a global higher performance coaching consultancy with New York residential real estate icon Esther Muller.

Dr. William's received his Ph.D. in educational leadership and a Master of Science in human resource management from Fordham University; an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management, DeVry University; a Management Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania; Wharton School Business (Securities Industry Association); and, the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certificate from the Society of Human Resource Management. In addition, Dr. Williams holds a Masters degree in music performance and a Bachelor’s degree in music education from the New England Conservatory of Music.

Dr. Williams holds superintendent of schools certifications and certification eligibility in New York and New Jersey, was a faculty member of the nationally recognized Classical School of Hartford in Hartford, Conn., and has taught music in grades K-12.

Dr. Williams has held teaching appointments at Fordham University, Iona College, Northeastern University, and DeVry University. He is a National Endowment for the Humanities recipient and Huntington-Beebe International Music Competition First-Prize Winner. Currently, Dr. Williams is completing is current book entitled Exits: Educators Leaving Education—Portraits of Transition.
