Eugenia “Jeannie” Liakaris has a wealth of experience working in career services with public and private universities. Her extensive career coaching and counseling expertise has helped hundreds of men and women advance their careers in a wide variety of industries. Her range of experience includes developing an effective personal brand, coaching behavior-based interviewing skills, creative job search techniques in a tough economy and how to leverage your existing network to find your next opportunity.
She is certified to administer the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and has a M.B.A. from Hofstra University and a B.S. from New York Institute of Technology. She serves as a frequent expert and resource on a variety of panels and articles dealing with job searching in a tough economy, personal branding and hiring trends.
Eugenia’s professional experience covers several industries such as higher education, marketing, brand management, professional and customer services, import/export and most importantly, career counseling and coaching. She grew up in a family business learning early on the importance of finding and doing what you love because that is where you spend the most time.
Eugenia provides career coaching nationwide on behalf of Women For Hire, is the Senior Career Advisor in the Graduate Career Management Center in the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and has her own private career coaching practice, PATHS. Her clients find her to be smart, compassionate and easy to talk to, which results in a positive experience for those who work with her. In her free time she studies Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu and has a High Green Belt. |
