 NYC 2.0 – a new series premiering on NYC life beginning September 18 – follows New York City’s tech sector. In NYC 2.0, host Rick Karr, a veteran reporter for outlets PBS and NPR, takes viewers on a fun and informative tour of what’s fueling the rise of the local tech industry with more startup firms in the City now than there were at the height of the dot-com boom of the ’90s.

The short documentaries offer a fresh and youthful look at the arts, fashion subcultures and gender identity.
