THE CITY AT YOUR FINGERTIPS: QR CODE MOMENT POWERED BY NYC MEDIA

June 10, 2010 - The City of New York celebrates Internet Week 2010 in Times Square! Using Quick Response (QR) code technology, New Yorkers were able to instantly access information about innovative online services and applications provided by City agencies through “The City at Your Fingertips.” QR code allows smart phone users to immediately receive photos, messages, and links by scanning the displayed code with their enabled devices.

Watch the animated sequence played throughout the day on the Reuters Building in Times Square.
