The CON requires a substantial amount of documentation and is over 450 pages in length. The entire application has been also provided to Community Board 2 for public posting on their website and North Shore-LIJ has also made a copy available through the Lenox Hill Comprehensive Care Center  web site which can be accessed through the following link: http://www.northshorelij.com/NSLIJ/lenox-hill-comprehensive-care-center.

In the middle of the page you will see a link which says Comprehensive Care Center Certificate of Need Application (PDF). Cursor over the link and left click to begin the download of the CON. The file is relatively large and it will take some time to download  depending on the speed of your internet connection.

The progress and timing of the CON review process can be monitored through the DOH CON web site -- https://apps.nyhealth.gov/facilities/cons/nysecon/AdvancedSearch.action
Just fill in the CON Project Number  111531 in the first line  scroll to the bottom of the page and press SEARCH and the CON Status will be reported.

We will keep you informed of the progress of the CON review. The Department of Health will begin its review shortly. Once completed DOH will formulate a recommendation and then calendar the project for public comment and review  by the Public Health and Health Planning Council. At this point in time it is hard to predict which review cycle the CON will be in but, it is our best guess that the earliest the review and public hearing  may occur can be sometime in the Fall (late Oct/November).
