Landmark status can now be determined using NYCityMap- New York City's online map portal. Here, you can search by address or zoom in to an area of interest.
To determine landmark status of a property or view the landmarks within an area, click the "Show Additional Data on Map" on the right-hand side of NYCityMap. Scroll down to the "Landmark" section and tick all four boxes - designated historic district, designated scenic landmark, landmark, and interior landmark - to populate the map. To view details such as landmark name and date of designation, click the "i" icon on the menu bar and then click on the landmark; the information will appear in a pop-up text box. Please note: NYCityMap does not show Calendared properties.
