The Landmarks Preservation Commission has a number of documents available for download in Adobe AcrobatTM format.
Forms are available to apply to perform work on a landmarked property, to nominate a new landmark or historic district, and to advise the Commission on potential violations of the Landmarks Law.
Publications are available with information on the rules of the Commission, guidelines on various types of work performed on landmarked properties, and Master Plans for some historic districts.
Designation Reports document the significance of a property and its physical appearance at the time of designation; they are based on research, photographs, and field visits. Information in the reports may include date of construction, neighborhood history, building use, architect and builder, style and design, past and current owners, and photographs of the historic district or individual landmark.
