PETER FUSTER
Assistant Executive Director/House Counsel for the New York Local of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), AFL-CIO

Peter Fuster has been Assistant Executive Director/House Counsel for the New York Local of the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), AFL-CIO since 1993. 

He originally served in that post from 1985-1987, leaving to join District 1 of the Communications Workers of America as District Counsel.  From 1988 to 1993 he was an Attorney with the New York Power Authority.

At AFTRA, Mr. Fuster negotiates and administers both national and local agreements in the fields of radio and television including WNJU-TV, which is owned by Telemundo; prepares arbitrations, National Labor Relations Board hearings and Unfair Labor Practice proceedings and reviews AFTRA Local Board actions to insure conformity with applicable state and federal requirements.

Mr. Fuster is a member of the Minority Labor Lawyers Association.

He received his B.A. from Fordham University and a J.D. from Boston College Law.
