Emanuel Nuñez is an agent in the Motion Picture department of Creative Artists Agency (CAA), a talent and literary agency based in Los Angeles, with offices in New York, Nashville, London, and Beijing.  He joined CAA in 1991 and works in the Los Angeles office with clients such as Antonio Banderas, Nicolas Cage, Jim Carrey, Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruz, Robert DeNiro, Emilio and Gloria Estefan, Nicole Kidman, Tobey Maguire, Michael Mann, Robert Redford, M Night Shyamalan, and Will Smith.

At CAA, Mr. Nuñez is involved in the representation of actors, directors, production companies and film financiers.  His department has expanded the role of the traditional talent agent by representing the financing and distribution arrangements of more than 160 films over the past 16 years. 

He also focuses on exploring financial opportunities for CAA clients in emerging markets, ranging from the US Hispanic market to India and Russia.  He is responsible for originating and strategically guiding some of the most cutting-edge financing deals in the industry, and is recognized as a pioneer in structuring deals for India-based production entities to invest in U.S. film projects. 

Mr. Nuñez continues to participate in transactions ranging from traditional talent employment and production arrangements, to the territorial sales of motion picture distribution rights worldwide, as well as the structuring of many international co-productions. 

Mr. Nuñez was previously at ICM, and prior to that was an attorney for an entertainment law firm in Los Angeles.

Mr. Nuñez received a B.A. from Rutgers University and a J.D. from Pepperdine University.
